  Farmer's Market Menus & Food Lover Weekends
Executive Chef Mark Payne brings fresh-from-the-garden flavors to The Cafe this season. Enjoy his daily-changing Farmer's Market Menu during lunch and dinner from May to September and sample locally-grown delicacies from Chicago's Green City Market.

Chef Payne will make weekly visits to Chicago's Green City Market to find exquisite, organically grown vegetables, fruits and herbs which he will creatively incorporate into The Café's lunch and “upmarket” dinner menus.

Baby lettuces, specialty greens, tomatoes, asparagus, wild grapes and seasonal melons are some of the fresh produce Payne will use in his dishes.


Food Lover Weekends
This summer, foodies can enjoy the perfect mix of food and luxury with our new Food Lover’s Weekends.

Upon arrival, you’ll start your culinary-filled weekend with your very own personalized Ritz chef jacket. Gourmet cheese and wine await you in your luxurious guestroom and hand-dipped chocolates and champagne offer an elegant respite at day’s end.

The following day starts with breakfast prepared especially for you by Executive Chef Mark Payne in The Cafe. Afterwards, you’ll be whisked off in style to Chicago’s Green City Market where Chef Payne will share his secrets in selecting the finest seasonal items, organically grown vegetables and fruits and herbs, all to be part of your evening meal.

Later that day, join Executive Pastry Chef Eric Estrella and his team for a gourmet dessert exhibition followed by a tasting of select regional and international wines with Ritz sommelier Pierre Laserre. Finally, your evening culminates with an exquisite Farmer’s Market Dinner prepared to perfection by Chef Payne with the ingredients you helped select and served in the privacy of your lavish guestroom.

Complete your culinary experience at our world-famous Sunday Brunch with choices like Spanish Pata Negra Iberico ham, roasted fresh figs and house-made ricotta cheese drizzled in olive oil.

Farmer's Market Weekends will be offered June 6-8, July 4-6 or August 15-17 and cost is $3,900 for double occupancy.
